2024 Turfgrass Research Field Day

Who should attend?

County Extension Agents, Lawn Care Professionals, Golf Course Managers, Sports Field Managers, Coaches, School Superintendents, Turf and Landscape Students, Landscape Architects. Homeowners are welcome, but the event is intended for industry professionals and county agents.

Where/When?

Where: 972 Highway 182, Starkville, MS 39759 (Map).

When: Check-in and registration starts at 7:00 am. The event kicks off promptly at 8:30 am.

Can I register on-site?

Yes, $115 for professionals. Online registration has closed.

What if it rains?

Our contingency plan is to delay until rains have passed while having indoor learning activities at R. R. Foil Plant Science Research Center.

How can I sponsor?

Sponsorship registration is closed.

Continuing education

Continuing education for the short course has been approved, as follows:
Alabama - Demonstration & Research 10 credits
Arkansas - Recertification approval
Florida - CEUs approved O & T 5 CEUs, Commercial Lawn and Ornamental 5 CEUs, and Gen Standard 487 and 482 1 CEU each
Georgia - CEUs approved Private 1 hr. and O & T 5 hrs.
Louisiana - Gen. Standards and O & T 3 hrs. and Category X 10 hrs
Mississippi - Recertification approval for Categories III, HCPL, HCWL, X, and VII-3
Tennessee - Approved in categories 3/9 O & T, Limited Herb App (LHA), 10 ( Demonstration & Research), and 12 (Dealer) 6 credits each
Texas - CEUs approved IPM 1 hr., Laws & Regs. 1 hr., General Pest Features 3 hrs.
GCSAA - 0.5 education points
